No there isn't currently any blueprints to print more.
And I advise you put the O2 bottles back, those 2 bottles it comes with is the O2 supply for the rover cabin, the 4 empty slots are the extensions.
That's my understanding of it anyway.
Well I can't put it back per se, since we don't have that ability yet. But luckily for me, I did not save the game in that state so I can just reload back ;)
Probably see that capability come in with the ability to make O2 and Water bottles when they make the Chemistry tree live. that's my guess anyhow, since I've already got one point in Chem from filling bottles at the Well console.
It would say Oxygen is decreasing because you are using up some of it. It's not really a "getting low" warning- just a periodic reminder that the supply IS finite, unless you've got it hooked up to a supply hose that's flowing enough to keep up. It's enough to last for at least a couple of 8-hour sleeps and 3-4 kilometers of driving at least, because I just finished a trip doing exactly that. ;)
I'll have to test later to confirm. Tried that when I did it by accident the first time, and it seemed to dump it into my inventory instead. It certainly wasn't back in the rack and I did see it anywhere on the ground, even with Z-scan a maximum range. *shrug* I may try it again during my next session, after making a JIC save of course. ;)
As for the bottles being different, again can't confirm. They LOOKED the same, aside from the fact that the ones in the extension racks had their valve ends pointed into the rack, while the "suit spares" in the equipment locker inside had the valve facing out. Haven't found any Rover parts in the wild yet either, but I'm only now getting ready to take a peek at what looks (on the map) like the remains of the campaign starting base.
Don't really know how many bases I have scavenged to dust (few dozens ? hundred ? ) but I never came around expansion bottles or battery upgrades.
Based on the fact that filling water and oxygen tanks at a Well's control panel is granting experience in the Chemistry tree (I've already earned one point to spend) I'd say the recipes are locked because their unlocks are in the WIP Chemistry tech tree.
As for my own original issue with the Rover's O2 extension tanks, I was able to successfully remove and then replace a tank when I tested again last night. The first time around where it pulled me a regular )2 tank and stuck it in Inventory must have just been a glitch.
Also printed and installed one battery extension, just to make sure I could. ;)
Edith: Was able to add 4 battery extensions, but it did not change anything except that they are now in the rover.
