Storage Lockers??

What happened to the storage lockers in the build menu? I was sure there were some there when I played the other day, but I can't find them anywhere since the last patch update.
Or was I imagining them? Confused.

Big T Bear, they are called the Refrigerator and the Blueprint is in both the HQ & the GARAGE sections.

i think at some stage some were called storage lockers but now they're all called fridges.

That would be right, name something with the name of something else that doesn't have anything to do with what you are looking for. These Dev's are certainly making the game interesting. lol

The 2 items both called fridges look very different but have the same number of slots, The one in the hanger section of the blueprints requires fewer resources to build. But both use power and both say "fridge", so hopefully one will get changed to a simple storage locker.

Yep as of the last patch I guess we now have 2 versions of a fridge that both need power and don't really have that much storage space. How difficult must it be to reskin that into a normal storage locker that takes no power and stores more? Especially seeing as all these placeables are limited to only being put into a few predefined slots in each usable structure.

I guess it was a quick fix for a bugged storage with no mountpoints, but then I still don't get the 24 hrs of testing, nor why the powerusage wasn't removed.

A fridge uses power to stay cool. But I can't remember when I put buildingmaterials in a fridge to stay cool.

All I see is now I've spend 2 techpoints for the same item.

This is probably suggesting the obvious, but i'd like to see a really basic early available storage box or locker. Nothing fancy, cheap to build and similar to the crate that we can make for the ATV, and a later one could be a regular storage locker / cabinet that holds more items similar, something that's half the size of the fridge. So maybe two new lockers could fit into one slot in the HQ or Workshop etc.

The devs have already mentioned in a different thread that they will be further differentiating the fridge and storage lockers, and also mentioned "storage boxes", which I'm hoping will be a cheap early-game storage solution....
