Options for mixed human/AI games would be good devs. Please make this happen!
I'd say the highest level AI is way beyond average. It's not brilliant obviously but at least it doesn't make mistakes and oversights, of which average human players make plenty.
But I agree with your general point, if the replacement AI is really only the basic level, the devs should definitely bump it up at least one notch.
On a separate note, I saw discussions about pass and play games (hot seat) - can't seem to find that option either.. any help appreciated. Thanks!
I want to play with a friend, online, and add AIs. That is not supported.
Agreed. Chess computers just do not make mistakes, so long as their programmings is good. They may not make human-inspired plays, but most humans lose games by poor play, than win them by inspired play.
So far I've won 6 out of 7 games in MP, whereas against the Lvl III AI I only win about half of my games.
I mean sure, Lvl 30+ players are probably a lot better but that's clearly way above the average.
