Can you still get the post-Christmas Nozomi cutscene after getting the forklift job? (Shenmue 1)

I know that for the cutscene to occur you're meant to talk to Eri in Dobuita from 7 PM onwards, then meet up with Nozomi in the park. However, no guide tells you when Eri actually leaves Dobuita, and I recall from my first playthrough that Ryo will often (always?) refuse to go home from work early ("I still have plenty of time to ask around about the Mad Angels")

Can I still get the cutscene, or am I forced to load an earlier save and waste a bunch of days, get the Nozomi cutscene, THEN get the job?

Shenmue has lots of other secret scenes and cutscenes that you may have missed.
Shenmue is a very short game once you know what you are doing.

I dunno man, I'm asking because the "Perfect Guide" (which I am using) is not perfect. Neither of the two guides you linked give you any kind of deadline for that sequence (while they do for others).

One of them just specifies 'after December 26', but doesn't say you can't find her during the forklift job story arc. As for the "official perfect guide", I found a side event with a cinematic scripted cutscene that the "perfect guide" glances over (showing Yamagishi the Phoenix Mirror) and I got the "Nozomi's confession" significantly earlier. The guide you cited doesn't even tell you the Nozomi cutscene only happens from December 26 onwards either, despite Nozomi specifically saying "we couldn't spend Christmas together".

You are supposed to follow the guide in numerical order.Perfect guide, for example, is numbered.
But now that I remember you could still see scene as long as you meet the requirements later.
But if you go to far in the story you will not. So Try to go to park and see. Actually I don't think you even need to see Eri's concern Deepens to see the Nozomi event.
Perfect guide clearly says "This event won't happen if it's raining. if it's before Christmas or if you don't see the "Nozomi Declare Her Love" event(after point 29).
Now if you don't want to start all over again you could "cheat" using a bug.

You then fail the flashlight scene multiple times till close to 25
Basically you would have to finish Shenmue disc 2 (Talking about Dreamcast but glitch works on the new version as well). Shenmue Disc 2 is the shortest disc to finish. Takes around half what disc one takes to finish my guess.
