Stuck on the docks forever

I know this is probably a common thing because as far as I've read this is the most complicated and disappointing part of the entire game. I kept sticking with it but I'm personally at my breaking point. After looking at numerous guides online I seem to be stuck on what a lot consider 'Work Day 2' Where I drive from warehouse 18 to warehouse 3. I've done the day so often and gotten so many promotions from hitting quota that I'll probably never have to have Ryo work another day in his life.

I've learned both the Shadow moves and Cross Charge, which apparently should not be learned until near the end of the warehouse stuff. I've talked to literally every single NPC on the docks at every single time of day. I've gone inside every building. I've looked at all the cats. I've won every fork life race, including coming in 2nd,3rd, etc for all the trophies. What the christ am I actually supposed to do to progress the story?

Here what you need.
You need to trigger an event during work hour at certain hour.
You need to drive to warehouse #3 while carrying a crate during Time 15:30 16:30

Many people have had this happened to them you could search past post.
What you doing is one of the method people use to extend the game to train more or buy stuff in game and earn more money. Seems you worked really Hard!!!!
Remember to buy lots of lighters! when you reach Shenmue 2 because your money will be stolen! in beginning of the game, but if you buy lighters and sell them at the right place you can get a lot of your money back. You probably don't even have to worry again about earning money in shenmue 2!
