Red Horn: Abandon speed, slap 4 fairy gems on him (yes, even though the int is useless). He'll auto-attack the enemy team 50% of the time you get jumped. Give him as much crit and power as you can while giving him that 4 gem bonus (don't be afraid to use gem socket patches, either! You get them a lot from here on out). He'll auto attack so often that you have a ridiculous amount of rage available, even if his damage isn't super great. Give him just a LITTLE life on hit (even just 3-4% is fine!) and he'll auto heal himself to max each time he does, too.
Bun Sister: Her tactic is great since it's "True damage", and the stupid totems block/reduce a crap ton of damage. Good for mopping up levels in imperial. Her best use is to get her HP as high as possible, and give her 4 of the God's Moral gems. This lets you put rebirth on every character as a passive, while still having them heal based on HER ridiculously increased HP, as well as doing more damage (since her tactic damage is based on her health; strength and int are both useless on a bun sister.)
Paladin: It taunts everything 100%, and the tactic is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NECESSITY to open with nearly. Open with it on EVERY WAVE after the first, and maintain the stupid debuff immunity. The mobs in 2 star missions freeze your turns, drain your life, a million ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things and a single cast of the tactic lasts 2-3 turns and makes all of that go away. Like the bun sister, a focus on speed and vit is best, which is best is up for debate. The rebirth passive can activate once every FIGHT, not adventure, so if someone gets unlucky and focused to death before the taunters turn comes around it's not a crisis, so there's an argument for abandoning speed. On the other hand, if you give him a lot of speed he can serve as a rage generator AND intercept earlier. Your choice.
Fire Player: This one's pretty straightforward. Use her passive 3-4 times between each of her turns (the fire seed caps after 3 usually, sometimes it takes 4) and let her burn ♥♥♥♥ down, with 100% crit rate and as much +crit damage and just high int and damage in general. This is your sweeper. She won't be great for killing totems, but she'll be your main source of damage for everything else. You can get 4 fairy gems for her to spam like red horn does, but without fire seeds she's not as great, so it's not as necessary. Yellow gems so you only have to setup seeds once and they never fall off, as well as some crit help, or whatever setup you prefer. So long as it gets her to 100% crit, it'll work.
Some browsing in the other posts about end game help suggest a Cube is godly but I haven't even gotten a legendary one yet so I haven't messed with him. Apparently if you tactic spam with him it's GG you win, up to level 15 or so.
Note that I didn't go in depth on a fifht. I'm using an ancient drunken reader, but real talk even if he dies I don't even notice his absence. He's pretty ♥♥♥♥, since all my team members auto-aoe. I rely on passive/gem healing, instead of a healer, so if I get the right ancient I'll prolly replace him with a fire player or red horn or cube.
Also, a tip, ancient isn't the "end" of good gear. Within each quality there seems to be an "exceptional" version which just has way higher stats then it should. This is true for the entire game, level 1 through level 8 gear. A good example I have right now is my axe, at level 8 ancient it's normally around 1200 damage. But sometimes, they get a huge spike and end up at 1800-1900, sometimes a little OVER 1900. Armors do it, weapons do it... so make sure you don't just have the right quality, but that it's good gear within that quality. It's not super rare, prolly like 20%.
So, I need more info for example.
Which is the easiest 2 star map to start , like is it in the Wooden Forest level 102, or Imperial Mausoleum level 1, etc?
For Paladin, how do I taunt 100%? Do I click on the taunt button? Do I need to click on the encouragement button.
When my rage is 100% which of the 5 players do I need to activate?
I think I am not hurting them enough in battle. Sometimes, both side take damage but keep on healing, so I cannot proceed.
Thanks a lot.
Now I am at the boss battle of Imperial level 1.... Hope I dont die :)
Set Effects 4 - does that mean that I only need 4 gems of the same type and can 2 gems be in the weapon and 2 gems be the armor?
Beside God's Moral and Fairy Stone, what other 4 sets are good to use, and for which characters?
If I put in 4 slots for armor and 4 slots for weapons, should I use 2 sets of 4 of the same color? Or use 2 different type of 4 gems that compliment each other? If so, what gems?
Where do I see the HP of my characters? Is it the number on the Vitality?
How do I increase HP? Just get weapons and armor that increase Vitality?
Once again, thanks for your help.
BTW, I have "Salvation of Heaven" and all level 7 weapons and armor. I read somewhere that they willget upgraded to level 8 or something if I win a few 2 star battles. Is that automatic? It has not happen yet.
I just found that I have unlocked all the level 8 weapons and armors.
Help from anyone is much appreciated.
3 slots for armor and 4 slots for weapons = 7 slots max
HP of my characters? yes => vitality
HP = Vitality
BTW => black-smith lv 8
salut, je ne comprend pas l'anglais, donc j'espere avoir pu t'aider :)
edit: the question does not arise, it is asked 8 is stronger than 7.
all vit rest on chests are the same so u wanna look at the other effects they give plate of broken bones is good as it double rolls vit or sup god;s plate as it also rolls speed
i just craft broken bones for everyone
Hire Paladin and Cube
The other 3 doesn't have much impact (i use iron soldier, fire player, and red horn because I have the legendary and ancient version). I used to cast encouragement at the start of every battle, but after I started using Cube, I now only use encouragement if I go against purple cyclops midboss. Just spam Cube's formless everytime you have 70 rage but make sure you have at least 70 before the end of the battle.
Cube is the best DPS atm imo, Fire player's skill to put fire seed doesn't really help you against totem. the biggest challenge of beating imperial mausoleum is enduring the bear's pounding while you try to reduce the grey colored totem asap(the grey totem stop reviving bears after its hp went down.... around 30-50% probably). if you gem cube to have 100% crit, you get a 600% output damage before crit and 70 rage isn't even difficult to get i.e. the white bear that can hit your whole group can easily give you 50 rage
The beauty of cube's formless is that not only it have huge damage, it's also have divine element so it can reduce opponent's output to help you staying alive
If you're still struggling with early 2 star map, just focus on gearing these 2 class. Even farm lv 46 hellish path to get critical rate gem if you can't get cube to 100% crit chance
Stack Vit
ATM, robe isn't very useful at higher level imperial mausoleum. i started discarding my robe at lv 31 imperial mausoleum. In there, the white bear can hit my cube for 6k and 13k when critical while they only have 11k hp. The white bear even start with 100% turn progress so it's insta-death if there's 2 white bears
Plate of broken bones/dragon protector is best since they got higher vit than other plate
The dev said that they want to change itemization and buff robes though, so it may change in the future.
At imperial mausoleum 41, I felt that my cube and fire player still die sometimes so I swapped "barren" staff to "Fallen rain" staff, sacrificing ~25% crit hit for another ~450 vit.
About gem
For the paladin, use 4 pcs of god's moral and 2 pcs of emerald of clear heart
For cube, use 4 fairy stone, 2 undead ash, and 1 other gem with your best crit damage/int
as for the 3 other character, if it's an int dps, similar as cube, if it's a buffer (bun sister/iron soldier) similar as paladin, if it's a str dps, put 4 stone of soulbringer
Try your best to get 100% crit hit chance and as mush int/crit damage rate as possible
I use Swift passive for dps and flesh to stone on the others
I use collector ring on all of my adventurer now and can still reliably beat lv 49 imperial mausoleum (the only exception is when there's a couple red/white bear at the start of round one critting me before I can use formless, in that case I just restart)
Keep in mind that this is only effective for imperial mausoleum since at most there's only 4 bears compared to guaranteed 6 enemies that can damage you on other places. I tried doing high level maps of other region and can't even get to midboss.
I have not unlocked the cube yet, but I read that it drop from Snow Mountain bosses.
Is there an easy way to tell which Snow Mountain maps have bosses?
Bosses are the huge giant creatures at the end of the maps, right?
So far I tried the 1 star maps from Map 81 to 71 but I do not see any big giant creatures at the end. Am I missing them?
Can you tell me which Snow Mountain maps to grind to get the cube please.
Thanks.
Notice that sometimes enemies leave behind scattered loots when killed. Just do snow mountain maps until the boss dropped an envelope when killed. It doesn't matter which rarity chest you get
The 2 star maps are much harder, so I will just grind on the final 1-star map, map 81 of snow mountain for an hour, and see if there is an envelop that says I got the cube.
Thanks a lot for your clarification. Hopefully it is not buggy.
BTW, I am also missing Elemental Wizard, Fire Spirit and Golden Shaman.
I read the sticky note on Character Invitation and followed the conditions for 1 hour each, but no luck. These maps are mostly the bosses drop, except Golden Shaman which is Mist Forest in Spring. I suspect that there might be a bug that prevent the envelop from dropping if we are too high level (My team is all level 60s)
Great idea. I grind at map 82 for an hour, got lots of legendary level 8 drops, but NO invitation.
Now I will spend another hour on map 25 and see if I get anything.
Once again, thanks for all your help and suggestions. I finally got my blue cube, and at level 60 it is the best DPS in my entire team.
With it, I was able to play in the 2 star dungeons, and got 2 of those super weapons today.
Thanks.
