I'm playing the same thing and you don't need anyone with the fire player to do the game ^^
that is my team : https://imgur.com/a/gdrVZ :)
Party nickname: LazyLock
The classes used: Warlock, Snow Maiden, Iron Soldier
Snow Maiden can be replaced by Fashion Boy or Killer
with good gear oe base stats Iron Soldier might be unneeded
with a great Warlock even snow maiden might be unneeded
The thought behind the build:
I created this team to autoplay Hellish Path 45.
Warlocks attack has a trigger that if it kills its target it deals 100% shadow damage to all enemies combine that with Insolence (the ring that make you attack 2 additional targets) to deal 300% damage to everyone.
So with good gear and stats he should be able to solo everyone just like Fire Player. However my Warlock has abyssmal speed so with the gear I could give him he would either be to slow or deal not enough damage to one shot the Old Timer.
So for my second character I added a Snow Maiden because she had great speed and targets the enemy with the highest health. For the same reason both Fashion Boy and Killer should work with Fashion Boy being the easiest to gather enough damage to one-shot the Old Timer because of the repeat attack on crit followed by Snow Maiden with her slow to make Old-Timer slower then the Warlock.
I added Iron Soldier beacuse his Tactic Aura gives the others 9% additional damage that Snow Maiden was missing for the one-shot.
Itemization, gems and Upgrade Cards:
As with every build: crit chance should be 100% and speed high enough to act before the enemies. In this case Warlock should be faster then the normals and Snow Maiden faster then the bosses.
After that you want to stack crit damage and for warlock shadow damage and snow maiden ice damage.
And as last you should look for high Intelligence items.
So for both of them I went with Barren as a wand. It can be crafted has crit chance as well as speed, crit damage and even got shadow damage for Warlock.
The cloak I use is Lost dreams because it has the highest Int, no need for Incarnation because you won't be taking any damage.
Warlock ring should be Insolence for the 2 additional targets and it also has crit% and crit damage. For Snow Maiden its Lightning Runner because of the Speed.
Gems:
Snow Maiden uses 4 green slots and 2 yellow.
Yellow is for the +80% crit damage from Undead Ash and green is for 2x 30% move speed from God's Moral and from Bone Rapture. The 7th sloth is for whatever gem has the highest crit damage, can be yellow or red or if still needed to get the last bit of crit%.
Warlock uses 2 green and 2 yellow slots for the exact same reason. Other 3 should be filled with crit% if still needed. the other 2 yellow combinations give +30%crit chance if a lot is needed but that should not be the case. I filled it up mostly with speed. because as I said my warlock is really really slow. Else it should go in crit damage.
Upgrade cards:
Speed as needed.
For Snow Maiden the Tactic Card because its a 30% int boost. For Warlock the tactic does nothing.
After that elemental damage.
The reason for elemental damage over Crit damage is that items give so much more crit damage then elemental damage. Because of this 1% of elemental damage is as good as about 4~5% crit damage.
So at this point you might be wondering where is Iron Soldiers itemezation.
He has nothing. He's a level 3 nudist with only his tactics card and 81hp and hasn't died even once.
Passives:
This build uses no passives since most of them do nothing.
Though you could use Stray instead of Iron Soldier or in conjunction if your damage is lacking or when you want to try to use solo Warlock but it creates lag so I skipped it.
Any other useful information to share:
This build started when I got my ancient Warlock about 2/3 through the game. I used to run him with Paladin and Rebirth passive to survive the bosses and counter their slow. But with Snow Maiden in the line-up paladin wasn't needed anymore.
Fun Fact: Iron Soldier's passive silences the damage sound effects of attacks and hides their numbers but not the triggers from warlock's kills
However, now with the new area I'll have to go back to the drawingboard
