Possibly got a game-ending bug in Love Cruise 64...

Soooo...yeah, this is kind of a problem. For some reason my game is acting as though I never got Key 7007, so I can't get into the room, therefore making it impossible to progress in the game. Unless the way to get it has changed, you should get it from the end of the photo-taking quest, which I did. I wasn't paying attention to the keys given when I got it (my own fault there, I know), but watching playthroughs of the game, that's where everyone got it, so I should have it too. Did I miss something, or is my game actually bugged?

And I mean, don't get me wrong, I like the game fairly well, but I really, really, really don't desire to play through the whole thing again just because I got cucked by a key that I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to have not working.

Edit: Should note I tried both leaving the entire area and coming back, as well as reloading my save. Neither worked.

I'm not 100% sure, but you may always get the keys in numerical order, regardless of which one you get. Look up a guide and make sure you got the rest of them. Other than that, no idea. Never heard of this happening before.

Just played through that last night. There is no numerical order as I skipped getting the key in the beginning in the engine room and went all the way back to get it. Was able to open the last door and finished that section.

I was told I should be able to progress in the game as long as I got all three triangles from the area, which I did, but I'm still pretty unhappy I've just had a small portion of the game sealed off from me with no apparent way to figure out what happened with the key that was meant to put me forwards. Maybe there should be some area in the inventory to show what keys the player has so that if something like this happens to someone else in the future it's not just impossible to tell what happened.

As Lazarus pointed out, you get keys in numerical order, no matter which ones you take, so maybe its more a matter of you not having found one of the keys? Are you sure you've picked them all up? I can provide a list of Keys if you want it so you can check every area!
If it IS a bug surrounding the Key variables, we'll look into it asap, and I apologize for the frustration that this might've caused.
