Big Cat Statue and the Time Capsule
I'm attempting a five cat statue year 10 clear and inheriting the items from the previous runs is obviously helpful, but it means that my attempts get staggered with a full clear between them. This was an aggravating mechanic when attempting a Robusta year 10 run, but now it's kinda infuriating.
I'm not always a fan of cascade-style mechanics (where if you're winning, it's easier to win), but this (and the gun mechanic) seem really poorly designed.
Given these conditions:
The time capsule is fully unlocked
All five statues are on
They've cleared year X before
Players should just get a random set of gear in the time capsule even if they didn't clear nuclear winter last time. There are probably problems with people potentially mulliganing until they get their favorite stuff, but is that actually a worse problem than forcing people to play a full clear before every attempt at the thing they want to do for the best chance?
Heck, I'd be willing to have any potential score scrubbed from the boards because I just want to focus on statue unlock runs. Maybe put in a "Time capsule+ no board score" toggle (which warns people when they start the year).

I consider this the biggest flaw in the game. I hope there can be an update to adjust this.

Lets be honest, time capsules are a crutch. There would be more prestige behind not having one in a run than with.

Its also kind of ironic that base year 10 is easier for Robusta since guns don't break anymore. Robusta mains never had it better. :steamhappy:
