The leech gun is great and everything but

What are you suppose to do during an invasion moon event when it runs out? During an early season when you do everything slow,

What are you suppose to do vs the mini boss tree in the jungle that surround you in projectiles to trap you when it runs out?

You can refill ammo by collecting seeds/crops. The weed cutting tractor is great for this.

I didn't have it, it was summer day like 2. I had the water tractor. And my fields were full of weeds.

The moon sent me home with a 3 leech gun with no ammo in it. Where any time I was trying to farm the ufos got blasted by the gun. Trying to save the animals was just not possible with the gun. And after the animals were gone the ufos all ganged up on me when I had no ammo.

I know what you can do. I'm saying there was no chance too. Specially once the saucers got my animals and all ganged up on me. It was early on and I may not have had any farming stat upgrades so weed cutting was very slow.

Well thats a tactial risk. I pick up guns thinking ahead I can change them or use them in dire situations. If I risk it, thats on me. Leech can work out fine, als long as you have some farming upgrades or weed cutting upgrades, or at least a scroll for the worst case.

This is another situation where with this gun I can't do anything, Which is why I wish it had a better recharge from just being on the farm. If my boss had been worm I would have been fine. But with how tanky enemies are in year 10

If I cut some weeds whatever ammo is added is gone instantly. So I could not beat the boss who kept spawning slugs who take a lot of ammo to kill each.

And I'm omegacrow, I need the leech gun for fertilizer because my whole thing is use fertilizer to make crops merge.

Did you fill up the gun BEFORE the boss fight? A full leech gun should easily take care of the slug boss without running out of ammo. Especially since you can cut weed and fire at the same time, so you should never really run out once you are energized.

Invasions can be harder, since they are a surprise, but if you really struggle with it, just be save and fill your weapon back up at dusk. Better save than sorry.

A higher fighting stat also helps. More damage = less ammo needed. So always buy new weapons to get those stats up.

If you dont like the leech gun's downside, there are alot of other ways to get fertilizer, you are not limited to that weapon.
