Reaching the the cartographer in the wash.

I can't seem to get to this guy. I have met all the others, this was the first one I found actually, but I just cant make the last jump to get up on the mesa. I hop up the various hoodoos, hop over the various paddle things, until I am at the last one and can just see over the edge, but sable cant climb it.

I have restarted, significantly upgraded my stamina, explored the whole map as far as I can tell and when I come back to this spot to get the map, I can never make the last bit. There must be another way but I do not see it.

Jump on the wall from the second to last paddle thing, not from the last one. You'll be able to climb the wall there.

I got to all of them without upgrading my stamina at all (I didn't even know it was a thing at the time) so you just need to find the right path and you'll make it.
