How To Install LA Mod For Emergency 4 Steam Version

So I got Emergency 4 on Steam, I have Windows 10. I've been trying to add the LA Mod to Emergency 4 for a while but it never works, I got it off Emergency Planet and double clicked on the mod after it finished to launch the download wizard or whatever, then it finished and the icon would be the firefighter stuff or whatever, and I would move it inter the mods folder but the mods folder says to use mod installer, but when I use the Mod Installer and select LA Mod, It says its a invalid package or something. Please help me is am going insane

With the LA mod you have to use the wizard and make sure the directory is correct, as by default it's for 911:FR. Mod installer is for .e4mod files like NYC mod or US army mod. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I was wondering where I can check the directory. Because it says I have it installed in the mod installer and that it is active. But when I lunch the game the game dosen't load the mod.

explain yourself better, I installed the mod from the original site and it works, I don't remember if there is a tutorial on yt but I advise you to follow the tutorials step by step

fixed it after searching forever for it, it was in some random folder, presumably the newest.
