Fire Damage L Bomb

So I need to make a bomb with L fire damage so I can unlock the ori bomb.
And from my googling I've been told I need catalyst to make this happen.

But I've tried almost anything I have and I cannot make that L happen,
any other tips?

Just wait till you unlock more ingredients/areas? This usually solves most problems regarding crafting.

To make it get to the L point, you need to get the top bar all the way up. Catalysts definitely make it easier, but you should be working on getting the highest possible quality materials you can, and make sure you set up the colors correctly. It's doable, and getting used to maximizing your attack/healing item qualities is imperrative for late game fights.

Fire Damage L on bomb is a 15 point effect so you will need a catalyst unless your alchemy is high level. As for the catalyst you should use, golden beehive has +4 effect level max which is likely enough to unlock it. As an added bonus, it also has +5 mars which is the fire damage effect. There's also chaotic dirt from those large crawling black enemies, which has +5 effect level and +5 mars.
If you are struggling to get enough points for it, try buying a talisman from pamila that has a bunch of components and then using lava ore enhancer from great cascades of anfel to turn it all red. Or use an activator to turn purple squares into red ones.

Well, that's the problem. I'm at the story where I'm on "vacation", and the only thing left to do is make the Ori Bomb which I haven't unlocked, which is why I'm now trying to make this bomb.
I doubt the story will continue if I merely level up.

I got it all the way up to, the last two bars is kind of greyed out. And even if I had items that went to max, and still had more to add onto the board it didn't unlock the next bars.

The golden beehive really did it. After an hour of grinding for it.
