Great game! Thank you.
On windows OS, if you have a resolution of, lets say 1920*1080 and you set the game to fullscreen mode, everything works perfectly.
But if you use that same resolution, but also set a scale (that increases fonts and icons sizes) to lets say 125%, the game also follows that scale and when maximized, the viewport becomes 125% bigger (but out of bounds within the set resolution) and you cannot see everything on the screen.
I believe thats causing what others were reporting in this thread, regarding not being able to see certain elements while on fullscreen.
IMHO the game shouls just stick to the OS resolution and ignore whatever scaling is set.
Hope this helps and it would be great if it could be fixed!~
Best
Sorry and all the Best, Robert
Having just started up the game and found the same problem described in this thread, I'm very unhappy to see the developer refuses to address it. I shouldn't have to change my system settings just to play your game! Very unhappy.
In
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\FantasySolitaire v-0-0-9
I see a settings text file, but I don't have an indication of what these control.

Please advise.
Edit: It looks like the first option is a Fullscreen toggle, set it to 0 to get a window. Then it starts. I'm guessing the 280 and 200 should control the window resolution, but they don't appear to affect it. The window is very small and not really playable.
Thanks for this- I went to this and changed the first number to 0 and the game works fine. I can then see screen to adjust settings, including putting it into fullscreen mode- however, fullscreen still expands so that some is on my other monitor (or just not there if I turn that one off) and the bottom is cut off. It's unplayable in fullscreen, but at least in windowed mode I can see if it's even worth trying to fix.
-Righ-clicking on the game icon (In the folders of the game) and going in ''Properties'' and then the -''Compatibility'' tab.
-Then I checked the first box:''Run this program in compatibility with -> Windows 8''
- and then the 3rd box which is something like: ''Run with a screen resolution of 640x480''
I was then able to open it small enough to go into the settings of the game and un-checking fullscreen before saving and quitting. Then I unchecked the boxes from the same tab and ran it again, not full screen.
There are no resolutions settings in the game which is pretty bad but i'd rather play in a small screen than not play at all. Thats just bad from the dev's part who basically just refused to fix this issue and/or help with running their own game.
Anyways, Hope this helps 😊
I did this before and it worked, but this time it didn't work for me. However, when I clicked "Run compatibility troubleshooter" it ran it with Windows 8 compatibility and for some reason it worked, despite not having worked when I did those changes manually.
So if anyone is having this problem with Ravenir's fix, try clicking the troubleshooter at the top of the compatibility section.
