Shipment Relays : how do they work ?

I cant figure out. Do they work as a planet that generates its own shipment for trade?

You need to activate it, you can select which sectors to relay and any shipment (no crystals) will be automatically shipped regardless of destination. Costs blue shards to use, and is active for set amount of time.

Shipment Relays run on 1,2,3,4 5 etc. planets. They run for a few hours at a time. You get the shards to run them from winning in blue star sectors. I like to run my Shipment Relays on those far away planets not connected to my warp lane hub. They ship the shipments from those planets in the sectors you have assigned out of the planets for you. So if you have 5 planets set up in the shipment relay and they ship 5 shipments per hour then you will have 25 shipments per hour delivered and make credits that way. The value of the shipments is equal to the hourly rate each planet produces. So if the planet makes 100 credit per hour shipments you ship out 5 per hour with the relay you make 500 credits that hour.
