I uploaded 5.7K 360 video but only plays 1080p

I uploaded some 360 metadata injected 5.7K VR footage and it plays in 4K fine on the regular Youtube app, but the only "option" available in YoutubeVR in 1080p, on other videos not uploaded be myself that were recorded in 4K and above I have the option for higher resolutions... any suggestions??

There should be higher resolutions. Search in YouTube VR for "around the world 4k" channel for 2D videos and "Airpano" channel for 360 videos. They should show higher resolutions as you see in this screenshot. if they do show to you, DO NOT choose Auto option but choose the highest resolution instead. Hey thanks. Yes on the 2D videos and 360 videos with the option of higher than 1080p I can indeed choose the higher resolutions, but for some reason MY 360 videos only have the option of up to 1080p. However if I play them in Youtube 2D I do have the option for 4K
