Sleep Tight
Doesn't work with my logitech dual action controller
The game doesn't seem to recognize my controller at all. The logitech gaming software definitely recognizes it, the axes and buttons work in that, but Sleep Tight doesn't respond to any input from the controller whatsoever.

Wouldn't be a problem, except that you can't access the "Repair/Upgrade/Destroy" menu on placed objects in mouse and keyboard mode, as far as I can tell.

Correction: The light walls can't have their "repair/upgrade/destroy" menu accessed with mouse and keyboard. Everything else can be accessed.

Still not able to use my joypad at all, and it's frustrating because playing with mouse, I'm continually clicking outside the game window (Triple monitor setup) and the game loses focus and I die.

I'm assuming this is a "game only supports xinput" issue, but I haven't been able to get x360ce to work with this at all... Anyone had any luck?
You can try putting it into xinput mode and then go into device manager. Once there, click the button to update drivers and select to search for the drivers yourself. There should be a generic xbox 360 driver in the list. I have the logitech 710 and before I figured out to try that driver, many games would not work with it with the logitech drivers. The logitech drivers don't need to be uninstalled and will not be affected and will still work to power the controller when it is in dinput mode. Basically what this is doing is treating the controller like 2 separate devices, each with it's own driver. Logi for din and generic 360 for xin.

Eh, my controller is an old model. I don't believe it has an xinput mode of any sort.

I've usually found it works with xinput games using x360ce, but not this time, apparently.

Are you sure? I've had a few logi's over the years and they've always had an actual physical switch on them usually on the top edge somewhere between one of the shoulder buttons and the cord or it could be on the back of the controller. If not, don't know what else to try and sorry I couldn't help. Good luck!
Yeah, there's definitely no switch like that. I've seen pictures on google of newer models that have that switch, so I know where it would be, and mine is just old enough that it doesn't have one.

That's why I've always had to use x360ce... It's a program that acts like an xinput driver from the game's side, but translates the calls to directinput for the controller.
