First person stabilizer - just black output
I´m using a Oculus Rift S and a Pico 4 (the Pico 4 with Virtual Desktop) which both work absolutely fine with steamvr. Also the Mixed Reality Capturing with Liv works fine. But I can´t get the First Person Stabilizer to show the game image, the window is always just black, no matter what settings I try.

I also did check all the points from the Liv Help-site under: "The LIV output window is black; The LIV calibration screen is black in the headset" without any luck.

Hello, Which games are you trying? Games that are using anti-cheat or openXR will not work with the stabilizer at this time.

I've got the same problem, and I've tried several games, including the default steamvr void with Home turned off. I've even tried with PistolWhip since that seems to be the game shown in the preview on the LIV window... nothing seems to output to the First Person Stabilizer unfortunately.

Edit: Interesting note: the stabilizer *does* match the FPS of my headset, even dropping to a lower FPS when I restart my headset with the stabilizer open, so it's clearly at least partially connected - just not outputting anything visually.

Pistol Whip is not supported as it is using openxr. In the future try starting the game first then launch the Stabilizer.

For anyone reading this, I went through the support system for LIV and they helped me get this sorted (it was sour themselves, in fact) and I do now have it working - thanks again :D

I just installed LIV and trying to use it while playing Synthriders. Black screen and actually crashes steamVR

Can you tell the rest of us that are having similar issues?

Yeah it was what sour said - I was trying to get it working with pistol whip because of seeing that in the little video demo on the UI, but that isn't supported any more because of OpenXR, and for some reason I have to make sure I started the stabiliser *after* HL:A for that game, and then it worked fine

Yeah, same issue here.
