Spoilers to newcomers on the Series?
I've watched One Piece Anime up to episode 145, so I am pretty new to the Series.
Will I have any kind of spoilers to the Series if I play this game now?
On what phase of the series this game is supposed to be?

I believe it is supposed to be set where japanese the anime is currently at, though in my opinion you will avoid any major spoilers after around halfway through the dresrosa arc which ends at episode 746. If you aren't too bothered about smaller spoilers then you could play it after marineford (finishes on episode 489 and the English version is past this point so it's all dubbed) to avoid the big daddy spoilers

I feel like you're gonna be pretty spoiled on things here since 4th gear has been front and center on the adverts.

Any advice on up to what episode would be a fair starting point to the game? by 'fair' I mean little spoilers...

The screenshots on the store page were showing Gemma 66 characters, which don't show up in the manga/anime until Whole Cake Island. To avoid any spoilers at all, it really would be best to at least get up to there probably. At least then you'd know who the characters are and their relationship to others already known.

At least Episode 800 or you are going to get spoiled on MAJOR characters that are introduced AFTER episode 746. Better yet, finish the arc that includes episode 800. Cant believe some of the people here. Telling you anything else is simply ludicrous.

As others have said, there will be LOADS of spoilers. The storyline isn't canon at all, but many of the characters you will see marry up to their the anime/manga counterparts WELL beyond episode 145. New abilities, alliances, etc..

For example, one of the main characters new abilities, it rocks up on you out of nowhere in the anime and is an awesome reveal. It's in the game, but doesn't show up in the anime til around ep 730.

Honestly the game looks like a massive disservice to OP, the characters and animation generally looks amazing, but I can't see much fun being had. I would put the game on hold and go on an anime binge - 'spoiling' the game is far better than letting this game spoil OP.

Actually I'd recommend reading the manga, you'll catch up a lot quicker, and some elements don't carry over so well to the anime - lots of comedic moments are somewhat butchered, and the animation quality is up and down for example.

Lots of spoilers yes, but also, save your money. the game really isn't worth it, not even for fan service.
