Has anybody found Zoro?

In the second part of the sidequest when a guy in the mining town says that he told Zoro to go Southwest to Amber Harbor I absolutely cannot find him. The range becomes almost the entire game map and I have no clue how to track him down. Anyone have any luck?

I bet him being zoro,and he went in the complete opposite direction. try going northeast instead.

I did that. I searched every bit of the coast NE of the mine town but couldn't find a trace of him. I even looked Southwest of Emery Plaza and no dice.

1. go ask someone first in topaz mine town
2. go to ruby village to ask someone for zoro
