However, that being said, the game will incorporate elements from the story that you have not encountered yet. Stuff like new characters, new events, new locations, and new abilities. If you jump into the game right now, there's going to be a lot of background context that you'll be missing.
You won't understand how things work, for an example the Awoken Skill of Smokers Devilfruit, or how the bounty system works etc.
Tho this game has a lot of "filler" stuff, it's fun to play. I love this game tbh, you'll always have something to do, more quests etc.
Hopefully they'll add 66% more to the world by then too =D
