Bug: One Piece freezing problem with Xbox Controller
I like the game but I don't like how it's optomised, I'm an I7 with a 1060 6gb and I have 3 ssd drives in my system so it cant be that it cant handle the game... I just have random freezes with my Xbox controller.

I also stopped playing this one time where I was talking to an old lady who stopped me from beating up the navy general and I couldn't continue the conversation, not only does the game freeze at random times it's highly consitent at random, and it sucks as hell when you're in the middle off combat... or sprinting to your destination...

Please fix these xbox freezing problems and it all will be good, I play other games with the controller and I don't have these problems...

note: I play pc with a wireless xbox controller with an adapter chip
note: freezes probably happen every minuet at the least
note: great game but it just needs a fix... this has happened from day one

Yeah, for some reason 360 controllers don't work well for this game.
mine just cuts out back to deesktop like i wasnt even playing and im using a wired xbox controller. my controller works great on gtav so i know its a bad port on your end.

Why you think it's your controller who do the freezes? O.o Then just unplug it > problem solved.

No... it's always the 360 controller that does it.

Im using one and for other games too but this is the first time I hear a controller cause a freeze -.-
And as I already told you, just unplug it and it should solve your problem, but I highly doubt it.

For me my computer wouldn't freeze, but the controller would stop working randomly.

So what now? Is the game freezing or is the controller stop working?

The controller inputs would stop working for a few seconds after the last input.

So its just a delay and not actually a freeze -.-

Have you already tried another controller?
If you try the same action with a keyboard does it happen too?
Wireless controller? Maybe the batteries?

Yes, I tried another controller and it works fine, plus I was wired and I didn't have batteries in it.

Though I'm not the TC.

Obviously I'm a bit late to the discussion, I also have the issue of input lag when using a ps4 controller, no issues when using a keyboard. I know it only occurs with this particular game because I use the controller for other games on the laptop without issue, initially I thought it was an issue with my laptop, but given that the game still accepted inputs from the keyboard, it's obviously an issue specifically with this game and controller setup. Does anyone have a solution to this problem. I have tried both blue-tooth and wired connections the same problem happens.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
