Is that what's important about modern time? That our screens are so much wider than they used to be? Just because we have a new technology doesn't mean that every piece of art should need to use it. Isn't the game design what's important?

Yeah but I get the point, the game just becomes more immersive in ultrawide and higher resolution, and people do actually pay money for the computer, the monitor and the game, so it's understandable how people want to use it to its fullest capacity. This game I don't mind having no support, it's an older game, when ultrawide wasn't as common. But if a game released today, that wasn't either moddable ultrawide or made by a single developer than I'd be kinda annoyed.
