I'm missing a sulfur charge
I solved 2 worlds and am now stuck in the 3rd world because I processed a sulfur cart and the contents went up in smoke. That means I only have one full sulfur wagon now, but I've heard you need both. So I can't finish the game.... or can someone send me a saved game in which the first two worlds have been solved and in the sulfur world both full carts are still available?

Did the first batch of sulfur pass through the vat you walked over to get in the building? Or did the sulfur disappear through no action of your own?

If you got to work with that first batch, are you dismayed by a message on your adjunct that didn't change/show progress?

I ran into a similar problem. I dumbly dumped both carts in for the first batch. Now I have no more sulfur (3 empty carts) and it wants more. I sent them a support explanation of this, and am waiting on a fix.

I'd rather not have to start the entire game over again.

I dumped both carts in right away, and the game buffered them in such a way that the mill only "ate" one, and I had to do no more than just start it again for the second batch.

I mean, I've tried that repeatedly.
- All 3 carts are "empty"
- The power is on (I also had to restore that to re-open the door, and the power lights are green)
- The thing on the upper level with the big flywheel says "No Sulfur" and selecting "Process" does nothing.
- The vat is empty, and if it follows the previous pattern, I need sulfur before the water will be added back in.

So yeah, no, it's soft locked. I sent them this save game.

JFC... okay, apparently I had to also go out and restart the water pipe next to the reservoir.

Nevermind. That's the problem with a buggy game... you're never quite sure if it's you, or the game.

This one they could have made better visually, the acid creation pool fills and empties nicely, but the big holding pool never really changes. Would be nice if as you add acid into the pool the level goes up, then empties when you dump that down into the battery. Then you would have a better visual cue that you can now start the pump to empty the reservoir.

Played through 3 times now and always dumped both carts of sulfur first and was always able to make 2 batches of acid after that.

Yes - I think we have the same problem. I don't think I turned on the pump BEFORE I poured the first batch into the mixer. I can now do what I want - only smoke comes out of the drain and the power goes out. So my question still applies: Does anyone have a saved game in which the other worlds are finished and in this world both loads are still in the wagons? If nobody helps me, I won't finish the game.

Did you get the power back on after it went out? If so, I'd say see what you can do around the spire reservoir.

Has anything changed there? Can you see if a way has opened into the Spire?

Is the reservoir water level down yet like in St. Andrew? Can you lower it?

I dumped both carts at once. I processed it and it did its thing. I later learned I could go back and process it again without adding anything to it.

there is a couple of pumps you need to do more than once to get the levels right.

I also dumped both sulfur carts at beginning and I tried going back to turn the tank outside the gate again, but no luck. So many glitches and freezing up has made me annoyed and I just am sick of going back and doing things over. Also the save games part doesn't let me save enough places to prevent problems.

What I learned was after you process the first one, You have to dump out the what you made when filling up the first time. You have to do this one more time. then you dump out the second pool. It can get a little confusing and there is also the pump outside of this area. That has to be done twice too if I remember right. You will have the power go out somewhere in the process. You will have to go back and reconnect the power somewhere in this part of the game. They did not make this one easy.

If your power has gone out that means you have dumped the large acid pond and are done with sulfur, you don't need to make any more acid. The next step is to get power back on.

Thanks! Now I know that I have to turn the power on again. I didn't expect that I would practically have to solve a puzzle twice, so I figured the problem lay elsewhere.
