Taking off, plane wont move.
Hi, I just bought the game, no mods atm, just the stock game. I have added most of the controls that are not added, joystick and engine managment etc. I have just stated the 1st mission. Im sat on the runway ready to take off. The engine is already running. I ahve the order to take off, so I open the throttle to full but the plane wont move. I pressed the B key and brakes are off, but plane wont move. I have been trough the list of controls but cant see anything like a parking brake command, I also read about chock blocks, again I cannot see the command for it. So how do I get the plane moving? I didnt have a pronblem in the tutorial.

In the controls, in the keys/airplane group of controls, about 4/5's of the way down look for "Signal ground crew to place/remove chocks".

Hi, looked all though options, cant find the control, tried ctl+c nothing. I have seen 1st mission tutorial on start up in youtube. There is no commentary, I see the red txt on the right if the initial start up, including seeing "chocks removed" txt. I tried the free flight in training. very easy start up, just wait for the engine to warm up, open the throttle and it moves. Starting the main campaign engine already started, open the throttle, engine rev`s away but doesnt move. I pressed the brakes on and off so I get the txt come up brakes 100% and lst brakes 0%, yet it still wont move. I have spent over an hr going through the controls, the only option is all brakes on/off, left brake and right brake. There is no option for chocks on/off

Everything you need is RPM forward, throttle forward, breaks off (just click B once) and chocks off. This should let you take off.

Thanks, found the control, it wastnt assigned :(, I hust have spent hrs looking, going trough videos. This is badly layed out :(, would have thought it should be listed where the brakes/undercarrage is listed.

Thanks, got the answer from Dalkorn. I know how it works. I didnt know how to release the chocks. As I said, there is no information anywhere on how to release the chocks.

Out of all the tutorial videos made by players to help players, this is the one action missed.

Then again, if you where at the hanger area then yes chocks would be engaged, at the runway waiting for takeoff, you dont need chocks, only brakes are used, as there wont be any ground crew to operate them.

I think it's a new thing added to game. Without it, planes moved a bit so they had to lock them until player is ready to take off.

Prob why there is no proper information, after doing a few missions, the chocks are no longer engaged and as you said, the plane rolls forward, it take`s a quick action when the game loads up to hit the brake button lol,

What a great find! I just experienced the same frustration. Thank-you for posting.

I've just started playing this again and had this same hurdle...Can't believe it wasn't mentioned in any documentation.
I've had this from day one and never had this issue..Nearly gave up tonight until I searched the answer.
There's going to be a lot of newcomers to this as well who are going to just say EFF IT! as I nearly did.
