HELP! IL2 Cliffs of dover won't start!!!!
So I got cfod and tried to run it but no matter what I try (installing things, reinstalling the game, disabling the antivirus, etc) it simply wont start! :(

Disable any antivirus before downloading & installing, it could have deleted some files.

Go to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz and right click on the file Launcher64, choose compatibility tab, tick the box 'Run this program as Administrator' and click 'Apply'. Try to restart to see if it works? :)

I had this problem a few months ago and for some reason if you turn One Drive off, it seems to then work. Hope this helps you.

Please take the time to read the 'Getting Started and Troubleshooting Guide'. It is located in the 'manuals' folder in your CLIFFS OF DOVER install folder in Steamapps.

This guide has a step by step walkthrough for getting your game up and running, as well as solutions for problems.

Hi Something to try, Go to the Library in steam account,where your games are - R/click on CODB go down to properties, local files click on verify integrity of game.
just a thought. good luck.
