What's the single player career like?

No career mode guys, but many many campaigns and single missions!

All the features will be added depending on your support, the more support the devs get the more things you will have ;)

Given a proper dynamic SP campaign mode is highly unlikely (and difficult/costly to implement)...career mode would be very well appreciated.

If, like me, you’re a casual player of sims like this, the campaigns are a lot of fun. I’m currently having a blast with the Rats of Tobruk campaign. Hours of fun to be had. If you’re looking for the kind of detailed career found in similar sims, you won’t find that here yet. I’d say invest in it so that it can grow.

You can not choose your desired plane in the campaign..

There is a campaign for the italian CR.42.

Also...Full mission builder works almost exactly like IL246 so watch those vids. If you're new to it then simply choose the Tobruk map. VIEW OBJECT/ choose a plane/ then Ctrl-click waypoints starting from an airfield. Then simply edit the parameters of each waypoint, add sationary new objects to attack or add active patrolling planes by unselecting first. Its very simple after a few goes and you can be delivering satisfying violence to the enemy in only 10-15 mins. Perfect for historical simmers like me or SP players who wish for a career mode. Try it.
