As a longtime fan of the old 電車でGO! series by Taito (I own all the original boxes of the Windows ports by Unbalance), I think I will really enjoy this!

How many routes are there currently, and are there plans to expand the game, maybe with additional lines or train types as DLC?

no routes its just stages you can select
you have to drive a train from a to b just stop at certain points thats it

it is offcourse nothing compared to other more serious train simulators
but still can be somewhat fun to play
it feels more like an arcade game then a serious simulator :)
