Don't listen to this guy. Leaning is great. Very usefull. you need some skills to use it. Just don't make it too op. Enough to pick without showing your entire body first. That is just garbage.
Sure it works in a fast paced game but in a tactical shooter having this ability to prevent headshots by spaming two buttons isn't fun or interesting. Same for crouch spam. Game is much better without leaning as you're forced to commit to the angle you're peaking or holding, instead of hiding 60% of your hitbox or to move your head hitbox by a stupid amout at lighting fast speeds.
Don't look at Siege if you want a tactical shooter, Ubisoft made it the opposite of it.
Nothing sucks more enjoyment out than watching a map after you die.

It's ok if you don't like R6, but just because you are bat at it does'nt mean the mechanics are broken.

I'm just gonna turn this around and tell you, "It's a tactical game, why should I be able to dodge bullets by spamming two keys during a firefight when I'm standing in the open ?" Leaning and crouching are so fast in Siege that while they do help you hold or peak, they help even more for dodging bullets like you were Neo or someshit. Don't want that ♥♥♥♥ in DP, I want actual, reliable movement that doesn't make players look like their characters have a seizure because they want to win. They could add leaning, but they should look at Insurgency or the old and actually tactical Rainbow Six titles. Siege is mechanically flawed. And I say that as someone who played the game on multiple accounts since Y3S1.
When you lean your camara moves, so you loose accuaracy.
I play R6 since Beta, so I know what I'm talking about and what you say. But is just a Noob opinion. someone that know how to use it, don't need to do that. And trust in my aim to just move mi camara a little bit to the left or the right.
Then why would you say that is always janky? What the hell...?
anyways. I hope they add that in a way that works for DP.

Actual Map Planning, like Old Rainbow on the fly is amazing.
Next thing to do is the need to be colour coded drawing and hotkey icon placement so you can mark breach on a door, hold here, watch here etc.
Red Doors should require a breaching tool and not always be kickable. Bring a Charge or Shotty. Maybe have weak Red Doors for Kick in, so maybe have them as yellow doors.
Otherwise, just the standard upgrading of the game is fine... add features you wanted, fix things you wanted. Cannot wait to customise and see more maps and gadgets.
