The three codes for the vault combination locks / deathless DLC ending?
So, Lock two can be opened from the back without the combination by using the loading zone glitch, and then you can work out the combination for lock one just by using the dropped lantern glitch and aligning the invisible bridge segments. For the third part of the lock you bypass it by dying in the real world so that the alarm bell can't wake you up.

Do you think locks two and three have actual combinations that work for them? I mean, if you brute-forced the combination, or looked into the game's code to find the combination, would you find a code that works?

Because It would make sense if the devs put those locks there but never bothered to give them a solution since the player is never supposed to find it out anyway. But if it turns out the devs actually DID bother to give combination lock 3 an actual solution, then that means if you found it, you could open lock 3 without having to die in the real world, and be able to wake up and meet The Prisoner outside the simulation afterwards.

It is just kind of sad that the prisoner probably goes and exits the sim world, and leaves a message to you saying something like "Hey, lets meet up and go explore together!", only to find out that your body is dead and he is all alone on The Stranger. I know you get to meet him in the Eye of the Universe sequence anyway, but still...

Sorry to break it to you, but it seems you absolutely missed the point of the ending.
Also the codes have been datamined, no known way to find them in game though.

Ah, so they have.

Here's a link to the redit page with the actual codes on them.

Sadly, even if you open the dreamworld vault, urns out the one in the real world does NOT open. (Makes sens since the player would never get a chance to see anyway, not to mention the Prisoner's body is dead at this point one way or another

I do like the concept of rather than tracking the actual codes down in-game, you instead wind up having to find ways to cheat the system. That was pretty awesome.

And yes, I do get the point of the ending - the Prisoner's actions that he was imprisoned for led to the Nomai detecting the eye's signal and coming to the system, leading to the ruins that inspired the Hearthian's space exploration program; if it hadn't been for the Prisoner, the entire game would never have happened.

And I'll admit, watching the player's own slideshow showing the Prisoner what happened after, was pretty cool. The part where we see the Hearthians find the Nomai ruins and start exploring space themselves, and the travelers' theme starts playing as we see them smile, that brought a tear to my eye.

The prisoner's body is dead in the real world, same as his other brethren.

hey "LupisLight" I think the prisoner commits suicide at the end of the game. you can see footprints leading into the water and the fact that he has already seen in the player's memories that his race's bodies are decomposing which means he is doing so willingly.

Updates to the game were made since the original post to make certain things more clear, and handle the situation where the codes are known:
Now, the real world vault does open when the (brute-forced or datamined) codes are entered, and the result is exactly as expected - the Prisoner's body is just as dead as the rest of his brethren. Notably, the status of the real-world Prisoner's lantern changes depending on whether you've freed him or not.
Also, the footprints leading to the water were not present originally.
