Textures circled in red
As soon as I launch the game, all the textures are circled in red, whether in the menu or in the game. I tried reinstalling the game, checking the game folders and restarting my graphics drivers, but nothing helped.

What exactly do you mean by "circled in red"? As in, big red circles are appearing around every single texture?

Have you tried restarting Steam/your computer?

Thanks for the answer, I tried to restart Steam and my computer. I also tried to go back to an earlier version of my graphics drivers but still nothing...

I see, it looks like every texture is outlined in red. i have no idea why that would happen.

-You said you "restarted" your graphics drivers, and also that you tried using an older version, but have you tried reinstalling them?

-Are you using any software that could potentially affect the game's graphics?

Yes, I tried to reinstall the latest version and apart from discord and steam, I don't have any other applications running.

good news i did figure it out. it was from forcing anisotropic filtering x16.
but because i have the microsoft store version of the game, I had to make a custom profile in the nvidia control panel for me to do an override (i didn't want to change it globally).

For anyone else in the future who wants to create a game profile, its looking for "annapurnainteractive.outerwilds_c96c51jf6wkvm", outerwilds.exe won't work.

Thankyou, setting to let 3D application decide fixed my issue.
