game crashes constantly

At first the game ran fine for the first hour or so and after that when i tried to play it, it just crashes but not only the game but my pc too, my monitor detects no signal from my pc although the pc still runs and i have to turn it off by hand every time. I have a 3060 ti and a intel i5 9400f (i know its a bad combo but i doubt its the problem). This has happened 4 times already and i dont know what to do. i have updated my drivers and checked hardware temps and everything seemed ok. pls help

Are you sure the game and PC are crashing? If your monitor disconnects from your PC, it'd be hard to tell that the game and PC crashed.
Someone reported a similar issue, and stated that their video card turned off.

Overclocking
Some users have reported that issues with frequent crashing were being caused by overclocked CPUs. Outer Wilds is a very CPU-sensitive game, and reducing your CPU to a more stable clock rate may help.

Also, have you tried verifying the integrity of game files? (Library -> Right-click on game -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files)
