Keyboard controls not working
I am able only to walk around and interact at the beginning.

Roasting marshmallow had me to restart the game because return key did not register. Spacebar for jumping doesn't work at all.

I'll give it another go once it's sorted out as at this state it's unplayable and I do not own a gamepad.

Don't fret - doesn't work with gamepad either!

I am also stuck at the fire in the very beginning. Q doesn't exit. Mouse and keys don't do anything.

I am having the same issue. Also, the Y axis on both analog sticks are inverted. The game is unplayable atm

Same thing here. Unplayable. I can move around fine but can't jump or use Q. Tried to re-bind the keys and that didn't work. I'd like to keep it but I'll have to return, if there isn't a fix.

Oh my god! Thank you! I'm not the only one! Exact same thing here. What's weird is they released a patch like 2 days after release on Steam to 'fix the map' and I'm sitting here like 'wait..people are complaining about the map? I can't even PLAY':steamfacepalm:

So the issue occurs if you have some OTHER form of input connected. Myself it listed my T16000 joystick. Go into the input menu and UNCHECK the box next to controller (if you want to use keyboard) this fixed the problem for me.

While this may work for some, it definitely didn't for me. I have nothing else plugged into my computer and nothing else registered. Plus even if that is the solution for 95 percent of the people having this issue, it's ♥♥♥♥ design, and shouldn't be something in a game that's just been released.

Unchecking the controller box also fixed it for me. Thanks!!

I'm stuck with this issue before even being able to change settings nor launch the game

I have no controler plugged in

Ditto here. After the company logo appears, I see the fire on the planet. I've tried every mouse button and every keyboard button, but nothing happens. I only have a keyboard and mouse plugged in.

Thank you! This seems to have fixed my issue. You might want to change the heading since it says, "No menu appears at startup with controller plugged in" to just "No menu appears at startup" since I did not have a controller plugged in. I only had a keyboard and mouse plugged in. No web cam, no microphone, nothing.
