Had to refund.... terrible controls (control mechanics not keybinding).
I was pretty excited to play this based on the reviews, but keyboard/mouse controls are terrible (can't even run+jump). I know it says "best played with controller" on start, but who the hell uses a controller for a FPS on PC?

*UPDATE* You can run and jump now. Plus, I just wanted to clarify that the controls I'm talking about refer to the actual controlling of the jet pack and spaceship. As other negative reviewers have pointed out, much of this game is very similar to the old Lunar Lander game (floppy drive era), Google it and see for yourself how horrible it was. Just don't come to this game thinking it's a relaxing and enjoyable adventure game casually flying around and exploring planets, because it's not. It's hard. It's frustrating.

OK, to be fair, he's not wrong really. It's not like planets in reality move as fast as they do in the game. If you flew to Mars, it's not like it would be that hard to catch up with it. I see where he's coming from with that complaint. The thing is that the solar system is MUCH smaller than a real one, the planets have shorter days than any real planet, the planets wouldn't have the same gravitational pull, etc. But still, I think this is just something you have to get used to as you play.
I think it still holds up, they're smaller but also much closer together, which naturally results in the faster orbit.

And the smaller planets have lower gravity which checks out as to why flying away is so easy (like the Moon) unlike Earth where it's really pretty tricky and requires huge rockets.

You still can't jump very high even in the low gravity because you're a fish. :steamhappy:

I know you're joking with that last remark, but even aside from the fishy qualities of Hearthians they would be relatively weak most likely. For one, evolving on a planet with lower gravity is going to give you lower strength bones and less muscle growth. Plus there's not much evolutionary incentive for their bodies to be good at growing muscles anyway, due to the lack of any predators and seemingly nonexistent or at least very limited seeming sources of protein in general.
Humans probably could jump off Timber Hearth with leg strength alone, possibly even Giant's Deep which has the highest gravity outside of the sun. It's only about a kilometer in diameter apparently.
