How has the DLC been out for 3 and a half years and there is still no fix for this impossible achievement? It based purely on luck, I have been working at it for days now to no progress. Try 157 is no different than try number 5. Sure you can learn how to not be thrown off at the initial burst, but after that, it's just luck.

That's my only missing achievement too, I have tried from different area, no luck.

It's still possible (and difficult) to steer the raft while on the wave (i only managed to do so on my successful attempt), to move sideways and avoid obstacles, meaning your fate isn't up to just luck.
Luck definitely helps, though.
