There are easter egg endings if you do some things not related to the main ending.
Okay. I did figure out the Quantum moon. That was a neat puzzle, but seemed just to give a lot of info, and not really give you anything else to do with any of it.
TY!
Or did you just land on it explore what you could see and then leave ?
I got it to the 6th location and talked to Solomon (I think that was his name)
Well you could do the easter egg endings if you like.
One of Ember Twin in the lab with the black hole/white hole, if you it is powered by moving the ball, if you select a white hole and a black hole and then shoot your scout in the black hole but remove very quickly one of the black/white hole, something happens which leads to an ending
A similar interesting ending happens when:
- you go to the Ash Twin project at the end of the loop, don't remove the core but wait near it. It transforms into a black hole right at the end, jump into it. Start a new loop and go back to the Ash Twin project for a surprise. Don't jump into the black hole this time.
Other endings are just a text, could be worth playing if you want to play more of the game or otherwise you could watch them on youtube. If you've not done the DLC, watch out not to be spoiled though. I highly recommend playing the DLC as well.
So other endings:
- removing the core and dying
- removing the core and escaping the solar system in your ship
- removing the core and waiting on the quantum moon
- the lab ending I described above
- the Ash Twin Project ending
I like that they did all that and let the players experiment around with stuff. What a great dev team.
Opinions on it are a bit mixed though (I liked it, but less and a few parts were a bit weaker)
