I know how you free the prisioner, im just curious about the burned passwords
do those machines have a password assigned you can gess randomly by pure luck instead of cheating as you are suposed to do?
this way could Ifree the prisioner without being dead in the real world and open his coffin in the real world?
im just curious about if the prisioner is dead or alive, becasue he was inmune to the ghost matter explosion since he was locked underwater so i wanted to open his coffin and see the corpse.
maybe this is impossible becasue the devs didnt thought about this

There are correct codes for the three locks. Someone datamined them a while ago. As far as I know no one has found any extra content by releasing the prisoner while you are still alive.

You can't get in with him unfortunately, he blocks the entrance

There are datamined codes that will work, but the one code you can figure out (the one on the left) doesn't even match it. The codes aren't intended be found or used. You can use them and they'll work, and therefore you can free the prisoner without dying. It doesn't change anything. In fact, if you undo two of the seals and then look at the jail in the real world, you'll see that none of the seals have moved.

NEWS: the new update makes you able to open the vault, and yes Prisioner is dead, you can even see how the prisioner's lantern turns off after the last cinematic, also added footprints to let you know that the prisioner indeed walked into the water and killed himself :c
