stuck inside ash twin project?
i’ve completed most of the game, and am aware of the steps to take to trigger the true ending, however whenever i try to leave the ash twin project after grabbing the core, the warp pad does not activate, i’ve waited on the pad for the rest of a loop after reaching the core and yet it refuses to work.

Did you use your scout? There's only one charge of the teleporter to get out and I've heard of people using it up with their scout.

Not really "using it up", but rather never activating it. As far as the teleporter is concerned, whatever/whoever went through it still hasn't left its warp pad surface, and thus there is no reason to activate the return warp pad.

Anyway, yeah, assuming you used the scout to time the entrance, just recall the scout and you'll be good.

Oops, that's right, I forgot the exact details here. Just remembered it was scout related.

And that's why it happens, people set up the scout to know when to go through and then don't think to recall it so it stays on the pad.

And like you said, the game checks to see that the pad is clear before turning it on to warp back mode so you don't accidentally get warped right back where you came from (which could be really bad in a few places).
