Trapped in the Eye of the Universe [SPOILERS]
After many hours of aggravating hardship learning the ins and outs of Outer Wilds, discovering mysteries, solving said mysteries, and being told there was more that I was missing, I finally reached the endgame, and the Eye of the Universe itself.

...Now what?

I walk across the landscape of Quantized Geology, through the stormy darkness and teleporting trees, all the way to the South Pole, and... there's nothing.

I send out my Probe Droid. It vanishes, and Nothing Happens. I equip my Signalscope, pointing it towards the spiral of coalescing clouds. Nothing Happens.

...Did I miss something really really important involving the Quantum Moon?

Because if I did, then why did the game let me get this far?

I never reached the Quantum Moon. Feels like I never even got close.
All I could discern from both the game itself and looking at guides was always stuff like;

"Get to the Sixth Location to reach the Quantum Moon, the Quantum Moon itself holds the Sixth Location"

or

"You made it to the Tower of Quantum Knowledge, now you should know EXACTLY what to do from here ;)"

Now I find myself stranded on the Eye, with No Ship, No Idea of what to do next, No Nothing.

I desperately need help. Please.

Jump into the void ! just follow the curve and jump.
It's better if you get to the quantum moon for a little addition to then ending but you can't go back from where you are, you have to finish first and then retry the quantum moon.

"You made it to the Tower of Quantum Knowledge, now you should know EXACTLY what to do from here ;)" --> watching the picture of a quantum object is the same as watching a quantum object... QUANTUM moon.

1. I think I made that exact discovery while you were typing this. "That's not how this game's gravity works!" I thought to myself. Boy was I wrong.

2. Why am I so terrible with remembering how the Quantum Camera Function works?

I didn't get to the quantum moon until after I beat the game, so don't feel so bad.

Is that a text from the game?? You can't actually reach the sixth location from the QM, and vice versa.

As you know how to reach the Eye, now take the time to actually reach and explore the QM, it is worth the effort. After that, go to the Eye again.

That was my best interpretation of the notes in the ship's log at the time.

I now know well what the game means by "Sixth Location", and made it to the Quantum Moon, talked to Solanum, all of it.

The Shrine on the Moon itself has Six different states of being, each one based on whatever planet it's currently orbiting, including the Eye of the Universe.

The Quantum Moon in its state of orbiting the Eye of the Universe IS THE SIXTH LOCATION.
