little hint on how to get through the electricity-field (spoilers)

hello everybody,

as of now I talked to the guy who already got through the e-field on the water planet and I know he somehow used a jellyfish.

I tried de-electrifying the jellyfish that are under water by running into them with the ship I also tried shooting several drones at them. No effect.

The log on my ship states there's a frozen jellyfish on the island with thorns. I've been there but I have no idea if I can unfreeze it and if so how. There I also tried using my ships thrusters and the campfire and different times during the cicle to see if something triggers an automatic unfreezing.

I've already been to all planets and mostly discovered everything including the moon but I don't know where I'll find the necessary clue.
Please just give me a hint if possible.

Have you seen both of Feldspar's notes on the jellyfish in Dark Bramble?

You've talked to Feldspar (the Hearthian who used a jellyfish), but did you follow their instructions? They should've led you in a particular direction away from their camp. There's more to explore there.

you should go back to the guy who already got through the e-field with the jellyfish somehow (to be clear that we are talking about the same guy -> i am talking about the guy on the VERY hostile planet). he will tell you to go somewhere if you ask him about; pretty sure he already told you but you just didnt think about the dialogue/didnt follow his instruction properly :)

Don't confuse it with the frozen jellyfish on the thorny island on giants deep. That's another frozen jellyfish that doesn't have hints. Feldspar refuses to explicitly tell you the solution to get to the core, and his notes at the jellyfish on dark bramble are also more hints than instruction, but they are very strong hints. You can get to it from the outside by using your jetpack and flying through the cracks, but it is not the intended way to get there. Feldspar does tell you explicitly how to get to the frozen jellyfish with the hints. There're no tricks to it.

The solution to get to the core is kind of exact. I tried it once and it didn't work, so I thought it was wrong, but there really isn't much else you can do so eventually I tried again.

I wonder if the german translation is a bit off.

I assume you're talking about the jellyfish with the pickaxe in it. I also read the diary and the note that's there. Though those instructions are also rather unclear. It just says they're usefull for isolation of electricity. But as I already tried everything I can come up with to use them as isolation I don't have the slightest idea.

I'll try again I guess.

Edit. Okay I'm in. I apparently used the wrong angle all the time before hand.

The recording in front of it the hint, not really the note by the axe. Go back and read it and it'll make sense. Also consider the exact thing you are doing to get to the note by the axe. Sure it is a dead specimen, but it's a strong hint anyway.

Yeah I already figured it out.

There are a few aspects of this quest that don't realy work out if you think about it too much. But I'm happy it's done now and the reward was well worth it.
