Only if you like exploring on foot.

I liked the spaceship gameplay so the DLC did not appeal to me much. It does expand on the main story tho.

If you liked the main game, you will likely enjoy the DLC. I would say it's very much worth it.

As for length, I'd say around 10-15 hours, depending on how fast you explore and figure things out.

DLC is absolutely worth it. There are some small "holes" left in the main story and the DLC wraps together everything very neatly. It took me about 15ish hours to complete the DLC and even then I only made progress at one point in accident, definitely harder puzzles.

As another datapoint, main game took me about 30 hours, DLC + achievement hunting took me 20 more. The vibe's different, and as someone said there's significantly less spaceship travel involved, but there is another cool travel thing to replace it and the overall DLC was fun.

Yes it's worth it.
It manages to renew the game with new kind of puzzles.
It's a little shorter than the main game usually

it is worth it but the basegame is very hard to tap as that one is amazing. Still it does a pretty good job despite certain elements might not have been the best choice. And indeed i missed traveling in the spaceship some more also while doing the dlc.

Same:

- worth it
- missed my spaceship
- interesting new mechanics
- which are quite different and not really for everyone, so be warned

I thought the first part of it all was interesting, but eventually I reached a point I where I had no idea what to do, it took too long to get there, everywhere I went looked the same, so I couldn't figure out where I was, and I just lost interest and never finished it.

There is no shame in getting a hint here. The DLC is pretty good, and worth it, if you can live with how different is from the main game.

Just finished the main game and DLC. I'm gonna be honest, I didn't really like the DLC. Like the graphics, are cool, the game mechanics are interesting, but I felt like it was a bit more of a grind than the real game and the spooky parts hurt the game imo. In the main game you get to explore a bunch of planets. The DLC is a lot more isolated, and lot more puzzle solving based. If you're a fan, I guess it's worth doing, but I would say it's not required to play.

I personally loved the DLC. The exploration mechanics are more contained to single location rather than multiple planets, but it gave the same amazing sense of figuring out mechanics and lore through exploration. I also thought the conclusion was incredibly satisfying.

The DLC could be Outer Wilds 2, there's nearly enough content for an entirely new game IMO. There's a lot less space travel but it's still fun and unique. And don't let the rumors of "scary" parts scare you away from buying it. I would say it is absolutely worth it.
