Then again begin stuck in the loop for who knows how many times makes you get used to it so it is still logical.
Spoiler-heavy summary of the things that objectively happen: The sun station, having been on standby for over 200 millenia, detects signs that the sun is turning into a supernova. The automated signal activates the Orbital Probe Cannon, which fires the probe in a random direction. At the same time, the statues activate (according to Phlox's fail-safe plan), but only one pairing works as intended (to the probe). The other statues are either unfinished, broken, paired to someone long dead (Daz) or too far away from anybody- except two.
STILL at the same time, the beings (and the computer) linked to the active statues receive information of the next (up to) 22 minutes- in a lot of variations, most of them including the information of receiving informations.
But back on topic- yeah, Gabbro is a natural born surfer dude. Somewhat fitting for a world of ocean and beaches. Wouldn't it be odd if the characters of the other travelers, including Esker, would somehow reflect "thier" worlds? Oh, wait...
"Chillin' Among the Stars" (A Gabbro Tune)
Verse 1: Kickin' back by the fire's glow, Starry skies puttin' on a show. Four eyes on the universe, so wide, No rush, no worry, just enjoy the ride.
Pre-Chorus: Tornadoes spin and the planets turn, But I've got no need for concern. Space is wild, and time’s a game, Every loop, it feels the same.
Chorus: Oh, I’m just chillin’ among the stars, Floatin’ easy, no care for scars. The cosmos hums its mellow tune, So I’ll hang here, beneath the moon.
Verse 2: Lost my ship in the ocean’s deep, Doesn’t matter—still catch my sleep. Time loops, yeah, it’s kinda strange, But why stress when you can’t arrange?
Pre-Chorus: Tornadoes spin and the planets turn, But I’ve got no need for concern. Space is wild, and time’s a game, Every loop, it feels the same.
Chorus: Oh, I’m just chillin’ among the stars, Floatin’ easy, no care for scars. The cosmos hums its mellow tune, So I’ll hang here, beneath the moon.
Bridge: Grab a marshmallow, take it slow, No need to rush where you gotta go. We’re just specs in this grand display, So let’s vibe, enjoy the cosmic way.
Outro: Time loops might drive some insane, But I’m cool, let it loop again. Yeah, I’m just chillin’ among the stars, Laid-back livin’, no matter how bizarre.
Heres another song.
"Floating Through the Final Waves" (A Giants Deep Loop Melody)
Verse 1: Storms are howling, the world spins 'round, Tornadoes lift, then pull us down. The loop will end, as it always does, But for now, I’ll just stay because…
Pre-Chorus: The water’s calm beneath the sky, No rush, no need to wonder why. Time will fold, and start anew, But here and now, I’ll enjoy the view.
Chorus: Oh, I’m floating through the final waves, Giants Deep’s storms, their song engraves. At the end of the loop, where moments fade, I’ll be right here, and never afraid.
Verse 2: Tides are rising, the sun burns bright, A fleeting peace before the night. Let it supernova, I won’t resist, The beauty’s here, it still persists.
Bridge: Every cycle’s a second chance, To savor life’s chaotic dance. No fear, no fight, just let it flow, The loop returns, and I’ll still go.
Outro: The universe might twist and bend, Each loop begins where the last one ends. On Giants Deep, through storms I’ll stay, Until the loop sweeps me away.
