Took a short break and now I have no idea where to go
I love the non-linear progression but I got pulled away from this game for a few months due to real life and now I've tried to return and I have NO IDEA what I was doing. I'm totally lost and my journal isn't really helping me piece it together.

I've looked at a few walkthroughs but I'm also kind of trying to avoid spoilers. Can anyone recommend a good resource for trying to piece this together? I've cleared a few planets and would prefer not to start over from the very beginning. Thank you!

One thing that might help is that the log is divided up by color-coded topics, so you can try to focus on one and figure out what you were doing there, Also, any location without a picture you haven't been to is a good place to try to get to.

Honestly though, it might be hard - you really need to put together a bunch of information, you might be stuck just taking an hour or two to fly to some of the places you've been again to remind yourself what's going on.

Dont look at walkthrough, spoilers ruin the game.
Have you looked at the ship log by planet ? You might find some places you havent explored yet.

You don't need to start over, just pick something interesting in the ship log and investigate it. You'll find your way back soon enough.

Thanks for the replies! I guess I'll just get back to it and stumble around for another few hours heh.

If you really end up having a hard time getting back into it, you could probably post zoomed out screenshots of rumor mode in the ships log and get some hints - it's kinda hard to suggest specifics without knowing where you've been.

Due to the nature of this game, you can just start exploring again like before, not caring too much if you already read the stuff before. After all, it's entirely possible to go straight to the ending of the game not too long after you start if you know what to do. I'd suggest just flying around, exploring, having fun, instead of worrying about catching up exactly. You'll likely start to remember what you learned before.

It's also worthwhile to read the stuff you've already read because as you play the game more, you understand what the Nomai are talking about more and more as you gain context.

Good advice. Thank you!

was looking for general information resources, I suppose. I guess I wasn't very specific. Thanks!

Yup, just figured I'd bring up the offer since I didn't know of any general resources honestly. Asking for help here is much safer than even glancing at walkthroughs, with how nonlinear the game is.
