Report a translation problem
The starting area is just the tutorial. Nothing particularly amazing about that part of the game, it just allows you to try out controls you'll need further on.
If you haven't done that and been able to start exploring the other planets, reinstall and follow the path really quickly until you get to the observatory. Get the codes, get to your ship, and get to exploring.
If you have managed to start exploring the other planets, I'll say maybe the game just isn't for you.

Really? I was thinking that little detail in the game didn't make much sense except for just the sake of helping the player. I'd like to know what the reason is.
You can learn that the ship's computer is made of parts of a broken Nomai statue - that's why it has glowing cables or whatever with a similar texture to the statues. It maybe doesn't entirely make sense, I don't recall a receiving mask being activated for it, but it's at least an attempt
