Totally lost about getting into the Tower of Quantum Knowledge. I don't want to just look it up though.

I've explored just about everything else thus far, but I'm still stumped about getting into the tower. Can anyone give me just a hint or pointer?

No that's not the solution. The solution is... kind of hard to hint without spoiling. It's not hard to do and you might find the solution by accident. And there's technically 2 solutions tbh. For both, you have to use a feature of the planet, the black hole, to be specific. There isn't like some locked door you have to open or anything.

Go park yourself on the tower for a cycle. By the time the cycle ends, it will be clear what you need to do.

+1 for the scout, it will help finding the tower later.
Instead of waiting, you can also doze off at the nearby camp fire for 12-15 min.

Welp, I'll just say, the other solutipn doesn't need any waiting at all, but is probably too hard for most casual players to do before they figure out the intended method.
