Crashed on start
Good time.
I have a crush when starting the game.
I dont see game logo, i only hear music and after 20-30 seconds my game will crash..
Can anyone help me?

Game started when i turn off my main Graphic card, but 5 fps...

Maybe try lowering the settings on the game? Personally, my computer's kind of old, so I had to lower the texture quality to make it run smoothly.

So its not solution. I cant start game on my MAIN Graphic card(1050) this started only on UHD 630, and when i trying to start at 1050 game do not starting :\
just black screen with music

Did you verify the integrity of the game files?

Right click 'Outer Wilds' in your steam library.

Click on Properties>Local Files>"verify integrity of game files..."

Will take a few seconds to check your game's files and replace any that have become corrupted.

Might not fix the problem but worth a shot, good luck fellow space drifter

Hi there, you may need to follow our support instructions for what to do if no menu appears on start:

No menu appears at startup

​​This game has a plugin folder that contains various dlls. Some actually rely on other dlls that are not installed when you install the game from Steam.

If you're starting fresh with a new Windows install, such as after upgrading to the latest Windows feature update, your system will be missing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. The game won't show any error message--the plugin dll (in this case a plugin that handles a controller) will simply not load, causing the game to malfunction.

​Here's where to get the missing files from Microsoft. Installed both the x86 and x64. Only get these from Microsoft; avoid "missing dll" sites: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

Already did it, but game dont want to start with my discrete video card. If i change in NVIDIA settings to my UHD 630 card game started but too much lags :|
