Keyboard or PAD
Hi,

I just would like to ask how is better/more comfortable way to play game? K&M or PAD?

I have very good PAD and top tier K&M, and I like to play both things, just depend on a game... So device is not problem :) I like PC freedom ;)

Esentially, thrusters become pulsed throttle with KB+M and variable thrust with a PAD.
Both are manageable, I prefer the PAD, so as not to smash my keyboard.

Whichever you normally play games with! Some find analogue gamepads easier to fly with, but if you're more used to keyboard for FPS games then you might find that more natural

I played entirely KB/M and wouldn't switch, but that's just what I'm used to!

it's a first person game, therefore i preferred using KB&M

I always play kb.
But with a controller you can adjust the strength of your thrusters which is very useful for a specific part of the game that I could not complete on kb without a mod.

Gamepad all the way.

I will try on PAD. Will see if works good for me 😉

this would've been your best option from the start 😅
try both, see which you prefer.

keen to hear your preference!

I played with KB+M and it was great. Even that one part is manageable if you know what to do.

Bramble. The main method of getting through doesn't need it at all but if you have analogue thrust control you can slightly thrust at lower volume

I don't have problem with keyboard mashing 😉 But if it is whole playable and more comfortable with PAD, that's all I wanted to know 😁👍 Even if only some part is more comfortable.

I usually play all FPS with K&M, and some TPP with shooting like HZD (Bow) or AC Origin (Bow)... Racing games all with PAD (as I don't have steering wheel)... But rest... I like to ask 😉

Strange...didnt even need it I guess . What was difficult about traversing Dark Bramble?

I played the entire game on KB/M. Had no issues. Hate playing First person view games with a controller.

(Spoilers! OP, don't read this!!!) You can bypass the intended solution for the puzzle in Dark Bramble by using the light pressure on the triggers, since that is considered the same as not using any thrust at all. (Even more spoiler-y ahead!) This allows you to have full control of the ship, even when directly next to the creatures that inhabit Dark Bramble.

Ok, I played over 2h and... I can't imagine flying this rocket on K&M!?! 🤪 Especially that I used to fly real life RC Helicopter, and you control it with Big kinda PAD (I had Spectrum DX6)... Oh and I discovered Autopilot and this landing view is really for landing 😉 But I need to practice more... So far game is kinda weird but interesting... And this ship journal is helping what to do...
