Suddenly can't jump anymore

Been playing this game for a while now and today when I booted up the game I can't jump. All my other controls work, and I tried using a controller and rebinding my keys but nothing. My guy just won't jump. Anyone know what the fix is?

EDIT: I found the fix that doesn't involve restarting my computer - going into the Properties of the game on Steam, then going to the Controller options and clicking on "Enable Steam Input" resolved the issue for me.

Update - I restarted my computer and it works now. Very weird.

Update 2 - it happened again after I died for some reason . I also noticed that my lander suddenly doesn't have as strong of a thrust anymore no matter what I do. I can barely get off Hearth. Anyone know if this is a glitch or some other key I might've pressed by accident (I doubt it)?

I had those problems, both the jump and the thrust. The jumping happened when I first installed the game and had the mess of control issues that everyone complains about, including me. I quit the controller, reinstalled the game, and just used WASD mouse. Worked great and I went on to have a wonderful experience.

As for the thrust, very strange. Happened once long after I beat the game and was just messing around. After ascending the elevator and plopping down in the cockpit, I hit the same old key to lift off like always with the startup engine sound and thrusters but it just stayed there. I noticed on the 6 way it showed only half power for some reason! No idea what caused it and no idea what fixed it. I simply exited and restarted the game. Worked fine and never happened again.

tl;dr possible bug. just restart.
