Help about a random thing

I was flying around to the dlc satellite and saw a random thing to lock onto. It didn't have a name and I flew to it and it seemed like some other tiny satellite. I didn't stick around at as I was afraid of spoiling some dlc stuff but now I'm curious. What is it? Don't say if it's spoilery but I'm actually confused what it was, I can't seem to find it anymore either.

Sounds like you found the Kickstarter backer's easter egg satellite. Did you hear it say "We're off! Like a dirty shirt in the wash!"? If so, what you have found is just for funsies, and was always a part of the base game.

Instead, if what you found has a deep space signal and a number on it, that's the new Hearthian deep space probe, which you can learn about in the new Observatory exhibit. This is part of the DLC.
