Report a translation problem
There is a fright disable option that can be checked for the dlc.
And then that thing happened and WTH, but ok, it won't hurt me, I'm wearing a suit, yay ! Then realizing where you actually are and going woooooow super cool :P
*I tried to be as spoiler free as possible here ;)*
Haven't seen the things Vorir mentioned yet, but the anglerfish were rather easy and only a bit menacing once you figured them out.
Going to Dark Bramble and the crashed ship now is like a literal walk in the park.
Spooky, creepy, intriguing are the right words indeed.
It has some really scary parts, but not as bad as a horror game that's made to scare you.
To me, those parts have been worse than anything the original game offered.
So on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is not scary at all, and 5 is scary enough for me to not keep playing, it's been a 3/5 for me so far.
Original game was a 2/5.
Each of the planets have some different element of anxiety or fear attached to them in conjunction to this fear of the unknown, this new one is fear of the dark, for sure. Even how you enter the new area is heavily based on dark and light themes.
But its gonna feel weird because you get the creepy atmosphere initially just by how you get to this area . . . only for them to pull a bait and switch for a little while and blow your mind with the bulk of the new area.
